Very nice room. Comfortable bed. Stayed on 3rd floor. Didn't have no problem with noise. Everything was very convenient. Had a great breakfast at Big Bad Breakfast. Also visited the broiler room in the basement. Had a live singer, 4 bowling lanes, darts, and a full bar. Well worth the visit. This was my 2nd time staying. Would recommend and will be back.

This hotel is amazing. It has a modern loft look in each room. The whole hotel has wooden flooring. This hotel is in the heart of the historic downtown of Florence, AL. It is convient to restaurants on the trip as well.

I recently stayed at The Stricklin Hotel and absolutely loved the charm and character of the place. The location in downtown Florence is perfect—so walkable to great shops and restaurants. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and had a wonderful boutique feel that you just don't get at chain hotels. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. My only real disappointment was finding out that The Boiler Room in the basement was closed for renovations. I had been really looking forward to checking it out, and I wish this had been noted somewhere more prominently before my arrival so I could have managed my expectations. That said, it just gives me a great reason to come back! I’m already looking forward to my next trip when it reopens so I can get the full experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

Great location! It is downtown, so the location is perfect if you've got a UNA student or just want to check out the downtown area. The drawback is that it's a bit noisy, but that's part of it! Room was clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay again.
